Recipe
Roast 1 cup Ragi Flour and 1 tbsp ghee on low flame until it turns golden brown and fragrant.
Add 1 cup milk and and 1/4 cup water into the pan, strring continuously to avoid lumps.
Sweeten and Flavor:
To this, add 1/4 cup grated jaggery powder, 1/4 tsp each of cardamom powder and nutmeg powder.
Stir continuously until the jaggery dissolves completely and the mixture thickens.
The sheera should have a porridge-like consistency.
Add Nuts- handful of chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios) and serve hot.
